Thistlewood Manor & Gardens was originally established in 2014 as an event center that has a reputation and desire to provide elegant and excellent events to captivate attendees and offer them a unique experience. We specialize in event management and have successfully organized numerous events in the past, as we strongly believe in collaborating with our clients to create an unforgettable experience.
As of 2022, Ginny Tipton has assumed ownership of Thistlewood, bringing with her a fresh perspective and a deep understanding of what it takes to create a successful event. With a background of over 20 years in the event industry, catering, customer service, and culinary experience, she has been able to bring her visions to life through Thistlewood and provide her clients with something much more than just a venue. Her dedication to providing exceptional service, attention to detail, and creativity align perfectly with Thistlewood’s goals. Her role as owner is one that she has taken on with grace and excellence, and she is honored to be able to call Thistlewood hers, as she is deeply committed to the success and growth of the venue.
Mary Jo Irmen has filled Thistlewood’s position of Chief Financial Officer (CFO) with over 30 years of experience in her industry. Over the past year, she has been a valuable asset to Thistlewoood, bringing not only her expertise but also a strong desire to continue growing and developing the venue into something truly special.
Ginny and Mary Jo believe Thistlewood is more than just a venue; it is a place where dreams come to life and memories are made. The root of what makes this place so unique is the people who walk through these doors. Mamawah fills the position of Chef at Thistlewood with over 10 years of culinary experience, bringing a wealth of knowledge and expertise to our team. Her attention to detail is extraordinary in making sure all the culinary needs of the bride and groom are met. Our clients are continually impressed by the exceptional dishes she prepares, and her dedication to creating a memorable dining experience is remarkable.
