The smiling, attentive staff made sure every detail was taken care of, and the outdoor fountain provided a nice backdrop for photos. If I might suggest, adding some pathway paving and lighting would be a wonderful touch. Overall, we recommend Thistlewood Manor for its beautiful charm, and good service!

She worked very well with our vendors and our Wedding Planner to ensure a flawless day. We were able to schedule multiple visits to the venue to plan out decor, layout and even practice our first dance! Ginny and her team allowed us access to their decor "closest," which had countless items that we ended up using, including specific items that her team suggested to help bring our vision to life. They created the perfect environment for our guests to enjoy our special day!

Since we had a winter wedding (January), I wanted to make sure that we could have... read more an indoor option. Thistlewood Manor allows for guests to sit inside while the bride enters in at the top of the stairs. The weather turned out to be great on our day so we opened the doors to the patio for our ceremony to view the fountain outside. There is a cute chapel area if you are thinking of an outdoor wedding too.
One of the many reasons I decided on Thistlewood Manor is their Simple Elegance Package that allows the bride to sit back and the team to provide great food service and clean up. This made it so easy for me not to have to put my guests to work.
The team of people that serve you at Thistlewood Manor are so kind. They will make sure everything is taken care of behind the scenes so that you can focus on your day.
We could not have been happier with Thistlewood Manor and the quality of work from them. I would highly recommend this place for your next large event.

We spent about a year looking at venues in this area and choosing this venue was one of the absolute best decisions we made. From the very beginning, they made... read more us feel so welcome and taken care of. The entire process was so much easier thanks to their clear communication, transparent pricing, and incredible in-house catering (which was actually super affordable compared to other places we looked at!).
Our coordinator Veronica went above and beyond in every way—she handled the little details that made our day feel truly magical. The team decorated the staircase and railing (without us even asking!) and matched it to our wedding colors. They gave us access to anything in their storage closet—bubble cups, sparklers, you name it.
And then the real magic happened: during our exit, they literally surprised us with fireworks—something we didn’t ask for or pay for, just a beautiful, unexpected gift that blew us (and our guests) away. I’m still emotional thinking about it.
They also handled our rain plan like pros. The morning of our wedding, there was a flash flood—but they kept chairs dry and ready to go, and as soon as the sun came out, we were able to have our ceremony outside just like we dreamed.
You can tell this venue is constantly improving—like the covered patio they added just in case of weather. Everything was so thoughtful, beautiful, and well-executed. Out of all the venues we toured, we feel so blessed we chose this one.
If you’re considering where to get married—this is your sign. This venue is truly something special.

Ginny and Meredith did a great job of putting together our cake table, incorporating decorations... read more we brought and making sure the dinner and champagne toast went off without a hitch. Even though we were not using this venue for the wedding, Meredith was wonderful in running through a rehearsal for the wedding party without knowing the venue set-up. She was excellent with the children in the wedding party! It is a beautiful venue both inside and out, elegant yet comfortable at the same time!
